Beaded Purses - Part 2
BEADED PURSES ?(Bags) ?Part 2
The Roaring Twenties when fashionable 揻lappers?wore skimpy short dresses, sometimes with beaded trim, closely clipped hair styles and very high heels, the trend was to carry a fancy beaded purse along the lines of those pictured here.
Those bags with the beaded fringe were more for evening wear. Purses with the metal clip for opening and allowing a bit more space for incidentals were used for everyday purposes.
Some of these 搒tylish bags?continued to be used for 揹ressier occasions?and evening wear right on into the late ?0s and early ?0s. When a lady has a good thing going, she does not willingly cast it aside for something a bit more conservative, you know?(smile).
Once in awhile, an example or two will appear in a carnival glass auction. It is amazing how protective owners have been over the years in keeping these sparkly bags in top rate condition.
We have known two devoted collectors of such purses. One lady displayed her several dozen 揵eauties?on large cloth covered mounting boards for easy viewing. They never fail to create excited conversation!

Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. Remember the prisoners as if chained with them---those who are mistreated梥ince you yourselves are in the body also.
Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
Let your conduct be without convetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, 揑 will never leave you nor forsake you.?So we may boldly say: 揟he Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me??/FONT>
Remember those who rule over you, who have spoken the Word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.
