RIPPLE: One might comment that these vases are as American as Apple Pie! There are enough colors and sizes in this pattern to accumulate an entire collection, although it may require some long-term effort and determination to obtain each color within a given size. A large and impressive collection without a huge investment could make the 揾unt?worthwhile.
Five different molds were used to create the Ripple vases. Note the difference in the base diameter.
2 ½? These have a 16-point star molded into the base and may range in height from 4 ½?10 ½?
2 7/8? These have a 20-point star in the base and range in height from 5 ¼?12 ¾?
3 3/8? These have a 20-point star in the base and range in height from 6 ½?14 ½?
3 7/8? These have a 20-point star in the base and range in height from 10 ½?16 ½?
4 ¾? These have a 14-point star in the base and range in height from 11 ½?20?
Four different styles: Squat, standard, mid-size funeral, and funeral make up the classification.

MILK GLASS ?versus - MOONSTONE
(YES! There IS a difference.)
Books and websites choose to ignore the obvious differences. However, turning a 揵lind eye?does not make it go away. The subject became a topic of discussion during a program presentation at a San Diego Carnival Glass Club Meeting in the late ?0s with the late Don Moore leading the pros and cons! His very simple and easily understood descriptions, along with demonstrations resulted in this definite conclusion: When placing a finger against a Moonstone base, the outline of that finger is evident on the other side of the glass?. In performing the same action with a Milk Glass base, no finger outline is visible.
Dean & Diane Fry, 12/10
But I do not want you to be ignorant,
concerning those who have fallen asleep,
lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again,
even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord,
that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the
Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.
And the dead in Christ will rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with
them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Therefore comfort one another with these words.
(1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
